Stochastic dynamics of reactive and live systems

The study of out-of-equilibrium processes, and its application to the modeling of different physicochemical and living systems, are at the center of the team's research.

This combines the development of new analytical methods, mostly from statistical physics, and the modeling of real systems, from the single particle scale (random walks, (bio) chemical reactivity, target search, protein structures and interactions) to the level of collective behavior (motility and cellular polarization, population dynamics, evolution).
