Proteomics

The IBPS mass spectroscopy and proteomic facility offers skills to characterize biomolecules, and especially protein identification and characterization (protein complexes, post-translationnal modifications….) using state-of-the-art ionization techniques and ion analysis (nanoLC-ESI-Orbitrap, MALDI-TOF-TOF). The peptide synthesis service provides advice for custom peptide synthesis and carries out the production and quality control. The molecular interactions service analyses relations between biomolecules (proteins, nucleic acids and lipids) without staining and in real time through surface plasmon resonance (SPR). Two researchers and four engineers provide their skills and state-of-the art technologies to the researchers. The associated research team « Biogenesis of Peptidic Signals » lead by Professor Thierry Foulon offers multiple skills in this domain via collaborations.
